We enjoyed a 6 hour car ride from St. Petersburg to Helsinki to attend the temple. It was a beautiful day. Lots more snow in Helsinki then St. Petersburg.
The yellow building is the temple housing.
It's very nice inside. One large kitchen/dining area for all to share. Each room has bunk beds to sleep six. All sisters and brothers sleep separately.
After two sessions through the temple we came outside to a snow blizzard but that didn't stop us from a 10 minute walk to the nearby store for breakfast groceries. We had a lot of fun in the snow!
We went with Mission President Podvodov and his wife as well as another senior couple, The Drennans, that are serving as member support missionaries in Kaliningrad.
